During its Nintendo Direct broadcast today, Nintendo confirmed that the Wii U version of Rayman Legends will feature Nintendo-themed costumes. Exclusively for Nintendo players, Rayman will have a Mario costume and Globox will have a Luigi costume.
This joins the platform-specific costumes Ubisoft announced in May, which include an Assassin’s Creed IV costume for PlayStation 3 players and a Splinter Cell costume for Xbox 360 players. Wii U players will also receive a costume for Barbara based on Aveline's outfit from Assassin's Creed III: Liberation.
Rayman Legends was originally a Wii U exclusive before shifting to multiplatform in February. The game will hit Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Vita on August 30 in Europe and September 3 in North America.
